Is PetsClub's pedigree feature suitable for official breed registries?
PetsClub is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a certified breed registry. However, the detailed records and PDF export are useful for preparing documentation to submit to official registries like the FCI, AKC, or national kennel clubs.
How many generations can I record?
You can record parents and grandparents (two generations beyond the pet) in the current pedigree structure. More generations can be added via the description field.
Is the pedigree feature free?
The pedigree / family tree feature is available on paid plans (Core and above), starting from €4.99/month. The free plan does not include pedigree tracking.
Can I use PetsClub for a cat's pedigree?
Yes. The pedigree feature works for all species — cats, dogs, rabbits, and any other registered animals.
Can I share the pedigree with a potential buyer?
Yes. Export the pedigree and health records as a PDF and share it digitally or as a printout. This gives buyers confidence in the animal's background and health history.
